Using God-given resources to assist them in ungodly purposes 2. Aligning with them based solely on cultural, ethnic, and family issues and not biblical values. Black, Woman, Party 3. Agreeing to continue in an adventure with them that God has condemned 4. Not speaking up when you see an evil act taking place for fear 5. Creating an alliance that violates the principle of unequal yoke, agreeing with an unscriptural position. 6. By refusing to acknowledge a heinous evil taking place and still casting your vote for the evildoer. 7. You strengthen the hands of the evildoers (Jeremiah 23:14) God declares that people can and do hate him! Exodus 20:5 Deuteronomy 32:41 Psalm 68:1 Psalm 81:15 Romans 1:30 (NLT) How and Why Do We Love Those Who Hate The Lord? 1. There is probably a caricature in our minds of persons who hate the Lord 2. Persons who hate the Lord don’t always look like someone who hates God! 3. They have a gracious way of speaking. Proverbs 26:25-26 When he speaks graciously, do not believe him, For there are seven abominations in his heart. Though his hatred covers itself with guile, His wickedness will be revealed before the assembly. 4. We fail to examine the life by the fruit. “Know the tree by the fruit it bears…” 5. Friendship with the world is hostility toward God (James 4:4 (NLT)) 6. We desperately desire to avoid the inevitable necessity of division. (Matthew 10:34–37 (NLT)) 7. We fail to recognize that some of the persons who hate God are our relatives, children, etc. (Deuteronomy 13:6–8 (NLT)) Obadiah 1:11 (HCSB)
